Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the French drama Women on Trial (L’Affaire Marie-Claire). The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, Potiche, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, War of the Buttons, In the House, Children of the Resistance, Angel). The soundtrack is now available to order as a CD on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. Disneyland Paris’ ‘Adventure Way’ Symphonic Suite Released
Walt Disney Records has released an album featuring new music written for Disneyland Paris’ Adventure Way, a new picturesque promenade with attractions, dining, and tranquil gardens inspired by Disney and Pixar stories, all leading to Adventure Bay, the theme park’s stage for its nighttime lake spectacular. The album features a 17-part symphonic suite composed by Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, War of the Buttons, Potiche, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, In the House, Driving Madeleine, Double Lover, The Time of Secrets, Angel) and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, as well the composer’s Adventure Way Theme in two different versions. ‘Children of the Resistance’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Music Box Records will release a soundtrack album for the French family adventure Children of the Resistance (Les Enfants de la Résistance). The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, War of the Buttons, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, Angel, Potiche, In the House, Dalloway). A CD version of the soundtrack will be released on February 27 and is now available for pre-order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list. Children of the Resistance is co-written and directed by Christophe Barratier and stars Artus, Gérard Jugnot, Pierre Deladonchamps, Leslie Medina, Julien Arruti, Lucas Hector, Nina Filbrandt, Octave Gerbi, Julien Pestel and Vanessa Guide. The movie is based on the French graphic novel by Vincent Dugomier & Benoit Ers about a group of 13-year-olds in Nazi-occupied France who form an undercover cell to resist the Nazis, sparking a quiet resistance movement in their village.

Composer Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, Potiche, War of the Buttons, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, In the House, Angel) is reteaming with director Yann Gozlan (A Perfect Man, Burn Out) on the upcoming French psychological thriller The Residence (Dalloway). The film starring Cécile De France, Mylène Farmer, Lars Mikkelsen & Frédéric Pierrot follows a writer lacking inspiration who joins a prestigious artist residency, where she finds support in a virtual assistant that helps her write, but soon begins to grow uneasy with the AI’s increasingly intrusive presence and secretly embarks on an investigation to discover the true intentions of her hosts.
