Music Box Records has released a digital version of the premiere soundtrack album for the 1991 British drama American Friends co-written and directed by Tristram Powell and starring Michael Palin (who also co-wrote the screenplay), Connie Booth, Trini Alvarado and Alfred Molina. The album features the movie’s original music composed and conducted by Georges Delerue (Platoon, Steel Magnolias, Twins, The Day of the Jackal, Beaches, A Little Romance, Joe Versus the Volcano). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. American Friends was released in UK theaters in 1991, in the U.S. in 1993 and is now available to stream on Prime Video and to purchase on DVD.
