The details of the soundtrack album for Brad Bird’s mystery adventure Tomorrowland have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Up, Inside Out, Jurassic World, Lost) who previously scored Bird’s The Incredibles, Ratatouille and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the History original series Vikings. The album features selections from the original music from the third season of the show composed by Trevor Morris (The Tudors, The Borgias, Immortals, Olympus Has Fallen). David Wingo is reteaming with director David Gordon Green on the upcoming political comedy drama Our Brand Is Crisis. The film stars Sandra Bullock. Billy Bob Thornton, Anthony Mackie, Scoot McNairy, Zoe Kazan, Ann Dowd, Reynaldo Pacheco, Dominic Flores, Louis Arcella, Octavio Gomez Berrios and Joaquim de Almeida. The movie is based on the 2005 documentary of the same title and follows a group of American consultants who accept the challenge of getting an unpopular Bolivian president re-elected. Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Debt, The Men Who Stare at Goats) wrote the screenplay. The album features the show’s original music composed by Oscar nominees John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Elf, Iron Man 2, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water) and Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Tombstone, Young Sherlock Holmes). The film is directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Out of the Furnace) and stars Johnny Depp, Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Dakota Johnson, Jesse Plemons, Corey Stoll, Rory Cochrane, Sienna Miller and Adam Scott. The movie tells the true story of Whitey Bulger, the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston, who became an FBI informant to take down a Mafia family invading his turf.
