Entertainment One (eOne Music) has released a soundtrack album for the British mini-series Glue. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Walter Mair (Blood Orange, Grand Theft Auto). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. Glue is created by Jack Thorne (Skins, The Fades, This Is England)) and directed by Daniel Nettheim, Oliver Blackbur and Cathy Brady. The 8-parter starring Yasmin Paige, Jessie Cave, Callum Turner, Jordan Stevens and Charlotte Spencer is set in the English rural countryside and centers around the friends of 14-year-old boy, Cal Bray, who is found dead. Stephen Warbeck has recently composed the music for the upcoming French romantic drama Mon Roi. The film is directed by Maïwenn and stars Vincent Cassel, Emmanuelle Bercot and Louis Garell. The movie follows a woman healing from a passionate but self-destructive love story. Maïwenn is directing the film and also co-wrote the screenplay with Etienne Comar (Of Gods and Men, Haute Cuisine). Alain Attal (Tell No One, The Concert, Little White Lies) is producing the project. La-La Land Records has released a soundtrack album for Paramount Pictures’ 1994 drama Nobody’s Fool directed by Robert Benton and starring Paul Newman, Jessica Tandy and Melanie Griffith. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Aviator, Hugo, The Departed), including previously unreleased music, as well as alternates and unused cues. Michael Andrews to Score ‘Daddy’s Home’

Michael Andrews has been hired to score the upcoming comedy Daddy’s Home. The film is directed by Sean Anders & John Morris (Horrible Bosses 2, That’s My Boy, Sex Drive) and stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini, Hannibal Buress and Paul Scheer. The movie follows a mild-mannered radio executive who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father arrives. Reinhold Heil is composing the music for the upcoming SundanceTV event series Deutschland 83. The show is set in the 1980s and follows a 24-year-old East Germany native who is sent to the west as an undercover spy for the Stasi foreign service to gather the secrets of NATO military strategy. The 8-part series is written and created by American journalist and author Anna Winger (This Must Be the Place) and Joerg Winger and stars Jonas Nay, Maria Schrader, Ulrich Noethen, Sylvester Groth, Errol T. Songs of ‘Defiance’ – Season 2 Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the Syfy original series Defiance. The album features the songs from the show’s second season performed by Brendan McCreary, Young Beautiful in a Hurry, Raya Yarborough and Trace Adkins. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 26. A physical version is also in the works and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Sparks & Shadows has previously released a soundtrack album featuring composer Bear McCreary’s music for the series. Defiance created by Rockne S. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the drama Woman in Gold. The album features the film’s original music composed by Martin Phipps (Brighton Rock, Harry Brown) and Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception, Gladiator, Interstellar). The soundtrack will be released overseas on May 29, 2015. No word yet on a domestic release date. The movie follows an elderly Jewish woman who fled Vienna during World War II and, sixty years later, starts her journey to retrieve family possessions seized by the Nazis.
