Jealous Butcher Records has released a soundtrack album for the indie comedy drama Burt. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tim Rutili (Monstrous, The Evening Hour, Brawler, Beauty Is Embarrassing). Also included are three original songs by Burt Berger who also stars in the title role . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first song (Freedom) and Rutli’s main theme below. Burt is co-written and directed by Joe Burke and stars Oliver Cooper, Berger, Steven Levy and Catlin Adams. The movie executive produced by David Gordon Green follows a street musician with Parkinson’s whose life gets turned upside down when a young man from New York arrives claiming to be his son and invites him to stay for the weekend at the house he shares with his grumpy landlord.
