‘Unnatural’ Soundtrack Announced

UNNATURAL_CoverVarese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Unnatural. The album features the film’s original music composed by Edwin Wendler (I Spit on Your Grave: Vengeance Is Mine, Tales of Halloween). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 16, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A limited edition CD release is also in the works. Unnatural is directed by Hank Braxtan and stars James Remar, Sherilyn Fenn, Graham Greene, Stephanie Hodes, Q’orianka Kilcher, Ivana Korab, Ray Wise and Allegra Carpenter. by-the-seaBack Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for Angelina Jolie’s drama By the Sea. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. RipleyCold Mountain1408) who previously scored Jolie’s In the Land of Blood and Honey. Also included are the songs featured in the movie by artists including Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Dutronc, Jane Birkin, Chantal Goya & more. The soundtrack will be released on November 13, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. By the Sea is written and directed by Jolie who also stars in the film alongside Brad Pitt, Mélanie Laurent, Melvil Poupaud, Niels Arestrup and Richard Bohringer. the-martianExpected to top the weekend box office is the sci-fi action adventure The Martian directed by Ridley Scott and starring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Pena, Kate Mara, Sean Bean, Kristen Wiig, Mackenzie Davis and Donald Glover. The film’s original music is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (Kingdom of HeavenThe Chronicles of Narnia). Columbia Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. alex-wurmanAlex Wurman has been hired to score the upcoming Amazon Studios pilot Patriot. The show is created by Steve Conrad (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Weather Man, The Pursuit of Happyness) and stars Michael Dorman, Terry O’Quinn, Michael Chernus, Kathleen Munroe, Aliette Opheim and Kurtwood Smith. The political thriller series follows the complicated life of an intelligence officer whose latest assignment is to prevent Iran from going nuclear. Conrad is also directing the pilot episode and is executive producing the project with Gil Bellows (Temple Grandin), Glen Ficara & John Requa (Crazy Stupid Love, I Love You Phillip Morris) and Charlie Gogolak (Focus).
