netflixVincent Jones and Dave Kushner have been hired to score the upcoming animated comedy F Is for Family. The show is created by stand-up comedian Bill Burr & Michael Price (The Simpsons) and features the voices of Burr himself, Laura Dern, Justin Long and Haley Reinhart. The series is based on Burr’s own childhood and follows a lower middle class family in the 1970s. Burr and Price are also executive producing the Gaumont International Television and Wild West Television production with Vince Vaughn & Peter Billingsley (Couples Retreat, Dinner for Five). The album features suites from several scores written by the Academy Award-nominated composer performed by the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Dirk Brosse. childhoods-endCharlie Clouser revealed on Twitter that he is composing the score for the upcoming Syfy original mini-series Childhood’s End. The show is based on the sci-fi novel by Arthur C. Clarke (2001: A Space Odyssey) of the same title and stars Charles Dance, Mike Vogel, Daisy Betts, Yael Stone, Julian McMahon, Osy Ikhile and Colm Meaney. The 6-parter centers on a peaceful alien invasion of Earth by the mysterious Overlords, whose arrival ends all war and turns the planet into a near-utopia. The film is directed by Tim Miller and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein and Brianna Hildebrand. The movie is based on the Marvel Comics character from the X-Men universe and centers on Wade Wilson, a talkative assassin who winds up with superpowers while seeking a cure for his cancer. UNNATURAL_CoverVarese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Unnatural. The album features the film’s original music composed by Edwin Wendler (I Spit on Your Grave: Vengeance Is Mine, Tales of Halloween). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 16, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
