Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the action comedy Killing Gunther. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dino Meneghin (Teen Wolf, Eye Candy). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 1 and will be available to download on Amazon. Killing Gunther is written and directed by Taran Killam and stars himself, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bobby Moynihan, Cobie Smulders, Paul Brittain, Hannah Simone, Alison Tolman and Ryan Gaul. Jean-Paul Wall is scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Spinning Man. The film is directed by Simon Kaijser (Stockholm East) and stars Guy Pearce, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver, Clark Gregg, Alexandra Shipp, Odeya Rush and Jamie Kennedy. The movie follows a charming professor who appears to be living an idyllic life until a young woman goes missing and he struggles to come up with an alibi to clear his name. Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Crown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Over the Hedge) who received an Emmy Award nomination earlier this year for his work on the drama and Lorne Balfe (The Lego Batman Movie, Terminator Genisys, Genius, Home). Nonesuch Records to Release ‘Phantom Thread’ Soundtrack

Nonesuch Records will release the official soundtrack album for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonny Greenwood who recorded his score with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next month. The CD version is set to come out on January 19, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and the vinyl version is available to order here. The show is created by David Farr (The Night Manager, Hanna) and stars Louis Hunter, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Christian Schoombie, David Gysai, Lex King, Bella Dayne, David Threlfall and Frances O’Connor. The 8-parter retells the story of the 10 year old siege of Troy and focuses on the story’s origins: the judgement of Paris, his scandalous love affair with Helen and and the ill-starred prophecy surrounding his birth. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for James Cameron’s 1997 classic Titanic starring Leonardo Di Caprio & Kate Winslet. The 4-CD set features the remastered and expanded original score, including previously unreleased music and alternate cues, from the movie composed by James Horner (Braveheart, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Aliens) who received two Academy Awards for work on the drama. The 20th Anniversary Edition is limited to 5000 copies and will be available to order on the label’s website this coming Tuesday. David Shire’s Unused ‘Apocalypse Now’ Score to Be Released

La-La Land Records has announced the first-ever release of the unused score for Francis Ford Coppola’s 1979 classic war drama Apocalypse Now starring Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Martin Sheen, Frederic Forrest, Albert Hall, Sam Bottoms, Larry Fishburne and Dennis Hopper. The music is composed by David Shire (The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, Zodiac, Return to Oz). The film’s original score is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Inside Out, The Incredibles).
