Walt Disney Records will release physical versions of the soundtrack album for Pixar Animation Studios’ feature Toy Story 5. The album features the film’s original score composed by Randy Newman (Monsters, Inc., A Bug’s Life, Cars, The Natural, The Princess and the Frog, Avalon, Pleasantville, Marriage Story, James and the Giant Peach, Seabiscuit, Parenthood), as well as Taylor Swift’s original song I Knew It, I Knew You (co-written with Jack Antonoff). Both the CD version and 2LP picture disc vinyl edition will be released on September 18 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. Check back on this page for the final cover art. The digital version was released last Friday and Swift’s song is also available separately as a digital single. Toy Story 5 directed by Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris and starring Joan Cusack, Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Greta Lee & Conan O’Brien opened last weekend and is now playing in theaters nationwide.
