The film is directed by Avi Belkin and centers on 60 Minutes newsman Mike Wallace who went head-to-head with the world’s most influential figures for half a century. The movie tracks Wallace’s storied career and troubled personal life while unpacking how broadcast journalism evolved to today’s precarious tipping point. Premiering tonight is the Syfy original series Nightflyers developed by Jeff Buhler based on George R.R. Martin’s novella and the 1987 film of the same name and starring Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Angus Sampson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Brian F. O’Byrne and Gretchen Mol. The show’s original music is composed by Will Bates (The Path, The Looming Tower, I Origins, The Magicians). Also premiering tonight is Freeform original feature Life-Size 2 directed by Steven K. Decca Records has released organist Peter Hurford’s interpretation of J.S. Bach’s Fantasia In C Minor, BWV 562 from Yorgos Lanthimos’ historical comedy drama The Favourite. The track is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. The single marks the first and to date only official release of music from the film. The Favourite starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, Nicholas Hoult, Joe Alwyn, James Smith, Mark Gatiss and Jenny Rainsford centers on the bitter battle between cousins to be the court favorite during the reign of Queen Anne in the early 18th century. Republic Records has released the songs This Old Heart Of Mine (Is Weak For You) and Hold On I’m Coming from the soundtrack for Drew Goddard’s mystery thriller Bad Times at the El Royale. Both tracks are performed by Cynthia Erivo who performed the songs on screen in the movie. Her cover of The Isley Brothers’ This Old Heart Of Mine is available to download here and the cover of Sam & Dave’s Hold On I’m Coming can be downloaded on Amazon. Both songs were missing from the original soundtrack album for the thriller, which also stars Jeff Bridges, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Lewis Pullman, Cailee Spaeny, Nick Offerman and Chris Hemsworth. Roddy Hart & Tommy Reilly have composed the film’s original music. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs written by the composers and performed by the movie’s cast. Deutsche Grammophon has released the main theme for the HBO and RAI original series My Brilliant Friend. The track, entitled Elena & Lila, is written by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Mary, Queen of Scots, Waltz with Bashir, Hostiles, White Boy Rick, Miss Sloane). The theme is now available as a digital single on Amazon. My Brilliant Friend is co-written and directed by Saverio Costanzo and stars Elisa Del Genio, Ludovica Nasti, Margherita Mazzucco and Gaia Girace. ‘Spitak’ Soundtrack Details

Serjical Strike Records has released a soundtrack album for the Armenian drama Spitak. The album features the film’s original music composed by Serj Tankian (1915, Furious, Intent to Destroy) who is best known as the lead singer of System of a Down. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Spitak is directed by Alexander Kott and stars Aleksandr Kuznetsov, Olivier Pagès and Oleg Vasilkov. The movie is based on true events and tells a story of the devastating earthquake, which happened in the city of Spitak on December 7, 1988. The drama, which has been selected as the Armian entry for next year’s Academy Awards, opened in Armenian theaters this past April and will receive a theatrical release in the U.S. on December 7, 2018.
