Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for Illumination Entertainment’s feature Minions & Monsters. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, Wicked, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Shrek, The Bourne Identity, Happy Feet, Migration, Bolt, Don’t Worry Darling, X-Men: The Last Stand). The soundtrack will be released digitally next week. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Music On Vinyl will release a CD and 2-LP version, now available to order on the label’s official website and expected to be available from major retailers soon. Minions & Monsters is directed by Pierre Coffin and stars Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Zoey Deutch, Jesse Eisenberg, Trey Parker, Bobby Moynihan and Phil LaMarr. The movie tells the story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created. The animated comedy will be released in theaters nationwide on July 1 by Universal Pictures.
