The movie explores loneliness, death and the meaning of life when vastly disparate lives collide in interweaving stories set in a near future Earth. Harry Gregson-Williams to Be Named BMI Icon at BMI London Awards

BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) announced today that Harry Gregson-Williams will be named a BMI Icon at this year’s BMI London Awards in recognition of his unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers. The event will be held at the Dorchester Hotel on October 1, 2018 and will be hosted by BMI President and CEO Mike O’Neill. Gregson-Williams previously received the Richard Kirk Award at the 2006 BMI Film & Television Awards for his outstanding career achievements in film music including for films such as Shrek, Man on Fire, Kingdom of Heaven, Spy Game, Chicken Run, as well as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (for which he also received his first Golden Globe nomination). On September 20, Vince DiCola will be performing his music at a one-night-only concert at the Whiskey a Go Go nightclub in West Hollywood, CA. The composer will perform compositions from his scores to 1985’s Rocky IV, 1986’s The Transformers: The Movie and the video game Angry Birds Transformers, among other titles. An Evening with Vince DiCola will also feature the debut performance of the new progressive rock band Saga Star, consisting of the composer himself, Rick Livingstone, Bobby Gianetti and Victor St. John.
