Mark Isham is composing the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Togo. The film is directed by Ericson Core (Point Break) and stars Willem Dafoe, Thorbjorn Harr and Michael Gaston. The adventure drama is set in 1925 during what the Nome Serum Run, when dog sleds transported diphtheria serum over nearly 700 miles to save Nome, Alaska, from an epidemic, and centers on the unlikely friendship between sled dog Togo and his driver. Tom Flynn (Gifted) wrote the screenplay. Kim Zubick (The Zookeeper’s Wife) is producing the project. Isham has previously collaborated with Core on the 2006 sports movie Invincible. Togo is expected to premiere in late 2019 or 2020 on Disney’s new streaming service.

As previously reported, Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, A River Runs Through It, The Accountant, Miracle) also has John Ridley’s time travel drama Needle in a Timestack coming up.
