arcelo Zarvos (Fences, Kpop Demon Hunters, Wonder, May December, Emancipation, The Good Shepherd, The Affair, Nonnas, Ray Donovan) is scoring the new Starz original series S.W.A.T. Exiles. The spinoff of the CBS drama S.W.A.T. (which was scored by Robert Duncan and ran between 2017 and 2025) stars Shemar Moore who reprises his role as LAPD S.W.A.T. Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson and follows the character following a botched raid ends in the death of a young operator as he is being offered one last shot at redemption art up a brand-new S.W.A.T. unit, built from LA’s most talented rejects. He is joined by Patrick St. Esprit, Lucy Barrett, Freddy Miyares, Zyra Gorecki, Ronen Rubinstein and Adain Bradley. Jason Ning (Lucifer) serves as project’s showrunner and is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Moore, Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog), Pavun Shetty (The Boys, Gen V), James Scura and Jon Cowan (Suits, Private Practice). S.W.A.T. Exiles will premiere next Friday, September 25 on Starz and has already been renewed for a second season.
Zarvos also continues to score Netflix’s The Diplomat, which will return for a fourth season on October 15. His upcoming feature projects include Marissa Chibás’s 1972.
