Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the psychological thriller Verity. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (Conclave, All Quiet on the Western Front, Lion, Dune: Prophecy, Pressure, The Day of the Jackal, The Amateur, Adrift, The Uprising, A House of Dynamite, One Life). Verity is directed by Michael Showalter and stars Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Brady Wagner. The movie is based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel of the same title and follows a struggling writer who relocates to the remote estate of a renowned author and starts to uncover disturbing truths about the family she’s living with. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide on October 2 by Amazon MGM Studios.
