Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Togo. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Mark Isham (A River Runs Through It, Crash, Once Upon a Time, Miracle, The Accountant). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 20 and will be available to stream/download here. Togo is directed by Ericson Core and stars Willem Dafoe, Julianne Nicholson, Christopher Heyerdahl, Michael Gaston, Thorbjorn Harr, Michael McElhatton and Jamie McShane. The movie is set in 1925 during the Nome Serum Run, when dog sleds transported diphtheria serum over nearly 700 miles to save Nome, Alaska, from an epidemic, and centers on the unlikely friendship between sled dog Togo and his driver.

Premiering on Thursday, December 19, is the mini-series A Christmas Carol written by Steven Knight based on Charles Dickens’ story and starring Guy Pearce, Andy Serkis, Stephen Graham, Charlotte Riley, Joe Alwyn, Vinette Robinson, Jason Flemyng and Kayvan Novak. Dustin O’Halloran & Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, The Art of Racing in the Rain) have composed the original music for the 3-parter. Mark Isham is composing the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Togo. The film is directed by Ericson Core (Point Break) and stars Willem Dafoe, Thorbjorn Harr and Michael Gaston. The adventure drama is set in 1925 during what the Nome Serum Run, when dog sleds transported diphtheria serum over nearly 700 miles to save Nome, Alaska, from an epidemic, and centers on the unlikely friendship between sled dog Togo and his driver. Tom Flynn (Gifted) wrote the screenplay. Kim Zubick (The Zookeeper’s Wife) is producing the project.
