Wave Music Production & Showbox Corp. have released a soundtrack album for the South Korean zombie thriller Colony (Gunche). The album features the film’s original score composed by Chai Min-joo. Colony is written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho and stars Gianna Jun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Kim Shin-rock, Shin Hyun-been and Go Soo. The movie follows a professor who is thrust into a bloody nightmare when a rapidly mutating virus is released during a biotech conference and – trapped inside with a small group of survivors – must fight to stay alive while the infected undergo horrific transformations. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in South Korean theaters this past May and will be released in U.S. theaters on August 28 by Well Go USA Entertainment.
