The World Soundtrack Academy has announced the next wave of nominees for the 2019 World Soundtrack Awards in the categories Discovery of the Year, Public Choice Award, Best Original Score for a Belgian Production and SABAM Award for Best Young International Composer. The film is directed by Marc Munden (Utopia, The Mark of Cain) and stars Colin Firth, Julie Walters, Dixie Egerickx, Edan Hayhurst, Amir Wilson and Isis Davis. The movie is based on the children’s novel of the same title by Frances Hodgson Burnett and follows a 10-year-old orphan who is sent from India to live with her reclusive uncle and his strict housekeeper in an eerie mansion, where finds a hidden garden and bonds with local boy, sick cousin and a stray dog over a shared fantasy world. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1996 original Mission: Impossible movie directed by Brian De Palma and starring Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames and Jon Voight. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Nightmare Before Christmas), including over 20 minutes of previously unreleased music.
