Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the Disney+/Hulu original documentary series Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story. The album features the show’s original music composed by Philip Sheppard (I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, Detroit: Become Human, Love, Marilyn, Bobby Fischer Against the World, The Tillman Story) and Baby Brown. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to Sheppard’s title track below. Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story is developed and produced by showrunner Simon Hammerson, directed by Daryl Goodrich, hosted by Keanu Reeves and tells the story of how, in 2009, competing in the most expensive and technologically advanced racing series on Earth, the impossible happened, when an understaffed and underfinanced team won the World Championship.

Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series I’ll Be Gone in the Dark directed and executive produced by Liz Garbus about writer Michelle McNamara’s investigation into the dark world of a violent predator she dubbed the Golden State Killer. The show’s original music is composed by Philip Sheppard (Love, Marilyn, Bobby Fischer Against the World, In the Shadow of the Moon, Detroit: Become Human). Premiering on Tuesday, June 30, is the Spanish drama Adú directed by Salvador Calvo and starring Luis Tosar, Anna Castillo, Álvaro Cervantes, Jesús Carroza and Miquel Fernández. Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, The Machinist, In the Heart of the Sea, The Girl in the Spider’s Web) has composed the film’s original music. Mira Mi Música has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this week when the film was first set to be released in Spanish theaters. Philip Sheppard Scoring HBO’s ‘I’ll Be Gone in the Dark’
Philip Sheppard (In the Shadow of the Moon, The Final Year, Detroit: Become Human, The Tillman Story) has composed the original score for the new HBO docu-series I’ll Be Gone in the Dark. The show is directed by Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone?, Lost Girls) and explores writer Michelle McNamara’s investigation into the dark world of a violent predator she dubbed the Golden State Killer. The 6-parter based on the book of the same name is a detective story told in McNamara’s own words, through exclusive original recordings and excerpts from her book read by actor Amy Ryan.
