Maisie Music Publishing has released a new cover version of the song Say Hello to Your Friend from the Netflix original series The Baby-Sitter’s Club. The track (originally written by Glen Roven as the theme song for the 90s series of the same title) is performed by Kate Nash and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to the full song after the jump. The Baby-Sitter’s Club is created by Rachel Shukert based on the children’s novel series by Ann M. Martin and stars Sophie Grace, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Malia Baker, Xochitl Gomez, Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein.

Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series I’ll Be Gone in the Dark directed and executive produced by Liz Garbus about writer Michelle McNamara’s investigation into the dark world of a violent predator she dubbed the Golden State Killer. The show’s original music is composed by Philip Sheppard (Love, Marilyn, Bobby Fischer Against the World, In the Shadow of the Moon, Detroit: Become Human). Premiering on Tuesday, June 30, is the Spanish drama Adú directed by Salvador Calvo and starring Luis Tosar, Anna Castillo, Álvaro Cervantes, Jesús Carroza and Miquel Fernández. Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, The Machinist, In the Heart of the Sea, The Girl in the Spider’s Web) has composed the film’s original music. Mira Mi Música has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this week when the film was first set to be released in Spanish theaters. Jesse Novak Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’
Jesse Novak (BoJack Horseman, The Mindy Project, Tuca & Bertie) is scoring the upcoming Netflix original series The Baby-Sitters Club. The show is based on the best-selling book series by Ann M. Martin and stars Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Xochitl Gomez, as well as Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein. The family dramedy follows a group of girlfriends and their homegrown babysitting business in Stoneybrook, Connecticut. Rachel Shukert serves as the showrunner is executive producing the poject with Martin, Michael De Luca (The Social Network, Captain Phillips), Walden Media’s Lucy Kitada & Naia Cucukov, Lucia Aniello (Broad City, Rough Night) who is also directing the series.
