UK-based multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Cosmo Sheldrake is making his narrative feature scoring debut on the upcoming comedy Digger. The film is directed by Alejandro Gonzales Iñárritu (Birdman, The Revenant) and stars Tom Cruise, Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Emma D’Arcy, Robert John Burke, Burn Gorman and Sophie Wilde. The movie follows the most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything. Iñárritu also co-wrote the screenplay with Alexander Dinelaris, Nicolás Giacobone and Sabina Berman. He is also producing the project with Cruise, Mary Parent (Dune, Godzilla, A Minecraft Movie) and Michael Sharp. Sheldrake has previously scored several documentaries and shorts. Digger will be released in theaters nationwide on October 2, 2026 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
