Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Warrior Nun. The show is created by Simon Barry (Van Helsing, Continuum) inspired by the Manga novels and stars Alba Baptista, Tristán Ulloa, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Lorena Andrea, Toya Turner, Thekla Reuten, Sylvia De Fanti, Emilio Sakraya, Olivia Delcán, Joaquim De Almeida, May Simón Lifschitz, Dimitri Abold and Charlotte Vega. Soundtrack Album for RTÉ’s ‘Resistance’ Released
Zodiak Music has released soundtrack album for the Irish mini-series Resistance. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Vince Pope (No Offence, Tigers Are Not Afraid, Black Mirror: Be Right Back, Misfits). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Resistance is created by Colin Teevan and stars Brian Gleeson, Aoife Duffin, Simone Kirby, Natasha O’Keeffe and Gavin Drea. The 5-parrt drama is the sequel to 2016’s Rebellion (scored by Stephen Rennicks) and centers on the events surrounding the Irish War of Independence during the time of Bloody Sunday in 1920.
West Dylan Thordson Scoring Netflix’s ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ Reboot
West Dylan Thordson (Split, Glass, Foxcatcher, Joy) has composed the original music for Netflix’s new reboot of the docu-series Unsolved Mysteries. The modern take on the classic series is rooted in the experiences of ordinary people who have lived the unthinkable – from the trauma of a loved one’s unexplained disappearance or horrific death, to the shock of a bizarre paranormal encounter. Each episode will focus on one mystery and once again will look to viewers to help aid investigators in closing the book on long outstanding cases.
‘Perry Mason’ Chapter 2 Soundtrack Album Released
WaterTower Music has released the second soundtrack album for the HBO original series Perry Mason. The album features the original music from the second episode of the show composed by Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, Malcolm X, Da 5 Bloods, 25th Hour, Red Tails). Also included are two songs performed by The Radiant Assembly of God. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a first soundtrack featuring music from Chapter 1 last week and will release more music over the course of the season, culminating in a full soundtrack album at the season’s end.

Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series I’ll Be Gone in the Dark directed and executive produced by Liz Garbus about writer Michelle McNamara’s investigation into the dark world of a violent predator she dubbed the Golden State Killer. The show’s original music is composed by Philip Sheppard (Love, Marilyn, Bobby Fischer Against the World, In the Shadow of the Moon, Detroit: Become Human). Premiering on Tuesday, June 30, is the Spanish drama Adú directed by Salvador Calvo and starring Luis Tosar, Anna Castillo, Álvaro Cervantes, Jesús Carroza and Miquel Fernández. Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, The Machinist, In the Heart of the Sea, The Girl in the Spider’s Web) has composed the film’s original music. Mira Mi Música has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this week when the film was first set to be released in Spanish theaters. ‘Rebecka Martinsson’ Soundtrack Album Released
ODS Recordings has released the first soundtrack album for the Swedish crime drama Rebecka Martinsson. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first two seasons composed by Dan Berridge (The Girl, Penguins: Life on the Edge, Great Bear Stakeout). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio clips. Rebecka Martinsson is based on the novels by Åsa Larsson and stars Ida Engvoll, Sascha Zacharias, Eva Melander and Jakob Öhrman. The series revolves around a successful Stockholm lawyer whose life is turned upside down after a violent death in the hometown she tried to leave behind.
Philip Sheppard Scoring HBO’s ‘I’ll Be Gone in the Dark’
Philip Sheppard (In the Shadow of the Moon, The Final Year, Detroit: Become Human, The Tillman Story) has composed the original score for the new HBO docu-series I’ll Be Gone in the Dark. The show is directed by Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone?, Lost Girls) and explores writer Michelle McNamara’s investigation into the dark world of a violent predator she dubbed the Golden State Killer. The 6-parter based on the book of the same name is a detective story told in McNamara’s own words, through exclusive original recordings and excerpts from her book read by actor Amy Ryan.
‘Steven Universe’ Season 2 Score Album Released
WaterTower Music has released the second score album for the Cartoon Network animated series Steven Universe. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Aivi & Surasshu (aka Aivi Tran & Steven “Surasshu” Velema). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 last month. Three more soundtracks featuring the score from the third, fourth and fifth seasons will be released over the next couple of months. Steven Universe created by Rebecca Sugar and starring Zach Callison,Estelle, Michaela Dietz and Deedee Magno Hall premiered between 2013 and 2019 on Cartoon Network.

Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ docu-series Visible: Out on Television. The album features the original music from the 5-parter composed by Emmy Award nominee Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, The Pacific, Everwood, Riverdale, The Keepers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes and Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Visible: Out on Television is directed and executive produced by Ryan White and investigates the importance of TV as an intimate medium that has shaped the American conscience, and how the LGBTQ movement has shaped television. The show is narrated by Janet Mock, Margaret Cho, Asia Kate Dillon, Neil Patrick Harris & Lena Waithe and combines archival footage with interviews with key players from the movement and the screen.

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the classic sci-fi series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea created by Irwin Allen based on his 1961 feature of the same title and starring Richard Basehart, David Hedison, Robert Dowdell, Henry Kulky and Terry Becker.
