Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Warrior Nun. The show is created by Simon Barry (Van Helsing, Continuum) inspired by the Manga novels and stars Alba Baptista, Tristán Ulloa, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Lorena Andrea, Toya Turner, Thekla Reuten, Sylvia De Fanti, Emilio Sakraya, Olivia Delcán, Joaquim De Almeida, May Simón Lifschitz, Dimitri Abold and Charlotte Vega. The fantasy drama revolves around a 19 year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and discovers she now possesses superpowers as the chosen Halo-Bearer for a secret sect of demon-hunting nuns. Barry is also executive producing the project with Jet Wilkinson (The Chi) and Stephen Hegyes (They Wait, Gunless). Warrior Nun is premiering today on Netflix.
