Adam Cohen and John Robert Wood are composing the music for the upcoming Psych: The Movie. The movie continues to the story of the USA hit show, which the composers scored from 2006 to 2014, and stars James Roday, Dule Hill, Corbin Bernsen, Kirsten Nelson, Maggie Lawson, Kurt Fuller who reprise their characters from the series. They are joined by Zachary Levi who will portray villain Thin White Duke, as well as Jazmyn Simon, Ralph Macchio and Charlotte Flair. The show’s creator Steve Franks is co-writing and directing the movie and also serves as an executive producer alongside Roday, Hill, Chris Henze and Kelly Kulchak.

‘Mr. Robot’ Volume 3 Soundtrack Announced
The full details of the new soundtrack album for the USA drama Mr. Robot have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Mac Quayle (American Horror Story, Feud, American Crime Story, Scream Queens). The Volume 3 soundtrack will be released digitally on June 9, 2017 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD and vinyl release is also in the works. The label has previously released two soundtracks for the show’s first season. Mr. Robot is created by Sam Esmail and stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallstrom and Carly Chaikin.

Premiering tomorrow, November 14, is the National Geographic originals series Mars directed by Everardo Gout and executive produced by Ron Howard & Brian Grazer about a fictional astronaut crew on the very first human Mars mission in 2033. Premiering on Tuesday, November 15, is the USA original series Shooter based on the novel Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter and starring Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Shantel VanSanten and Eddie McClintock. USA’s ‘Shooter’ to Feature Music by Bobby Krlic
Bobby Krlic is composing the music for the new USA original series Shooter. The show is based on the best-selling novel Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter and Antoine Fuqua’s 2007 feature of the same title and stars Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Shantel VanSanten and Eddie McClintock. The drama follows a highly-decorated veteran who is coaxed back into action to prevent a plot to kill the President. Mark Wahlberg who starred in the movie version is executive producing the Paramount Television and Universal Cable production with Stephen Levinson (Entourage, Ballers, Lone Survivor), Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, Salt, RED, Deepwater Horizon) and John Hlavin (Underworld: Awakening) who also wrote the pilot episode.

USA’s ‘Eyewitness’ to Feature Music by Keefus Ciancia
Keefus Ciancia is composing the score for the new USA original series Eyewitness. The show is created by Adi Hasak (Shades of Blue, 3 Days to Kill) based on the Norwegian crime thriller Øyevitne and stars Julianne Nicholson, Gil Bellows, Warren Christie, Tattiawna Jones, Matt Murray, James Paxton and Tyler Young. The anthology series’ first season follows two innocent teenage boys who bear witness to a triple-homicide while in the midst of a romantic encounter. Hasak is also executive producing the Universal Cable production with Jarl Emsell Larsen, Scott Peters (V, The 4400), Jackie de Crinis, as well as Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown) who also directed the first two episodes.

Nick Urata is composing the music for the new USA original series Falling Water. The show is created by Blake Masters (2 Guns, Brotherhood) and stars Lizzie Brochere, David Ajala, Will Yun Lee, Zak Orth, Anna Wood and Kai Lennox. The drama tells the story of three unrelated people, who slowly realize that they are dreaming separate parts of a single common dream. Masters is also executive producing the project with Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead, Aliens, The Terminator, Armageddon).

Premiering today in the U.S. is the British/French TV series The Tunnel based on the Scandinavian drama The Bridge and starring Stephen Dillane and Clémence Poésy. The music from the show’s first season is composed by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, Kinky Boots, Bridesheads Revisited, Dancing on the Edge) and the second season is scored by Ben Bartlett (Walking with Dinosaurs, The Mark of Cain). The drama follows two detectives working together to find a serial killer who left the upper-half body of a French politician and the lower-half of a British prostitute in the Channel Tunnel. Raney Shockne has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS comedy Kevin Can Wait. The show is created by Bruce Helford, Rock Reuben (The King of Queens, Zookeeper, Here Comes the Boom) and Kevin James who also stars in the series with Erinn Hayes, Taylor Spreitler, Ryan Cartwright, Mary-Charles Jones, James DiGiacomo, Leonard Earl Howze, Gary Valentine and Lenny Venito. The comedy follows a newly retired police officer who looks forward to spending more quality time with his family only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.
