Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the NBC drama Law & Order: Organized Crime. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, The Terminal List, Victoria, Harry Brown, Sanditon). Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, Harry Brown, Victoria, Sanditon) has recently scored the new BBC series Bloodlands. The show is created by Chris Brandon and stars James Nesbitt, Lisa Dwan, Lorcan Cranitch, Charlene McKenna, Ian McElhinney, Lola Petticrew and Chris Walley. The 4-part crime thriller is directed by Pete Travis (Dredd, Vantage Point) and revolves around a detective who is forced to grapple with his past when he is sent on the hunt for a mythical assassin. Jed Mercurio (Line of Duty, Critical), Jimmy Mulville (Flack, Episodes) and Mark Redhead (Bloody Sunday, The Secret) are producing the project for HTM Television production.
