Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the supernatural comedy Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, The Way Back, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer, Tully, The Age of Adeline). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 19. and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two first tracks (Lab Partners & Mini-Pufts) will already be coming out tomorrow and can be checked out below. A CD version is now available as an import on Amazon. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is co-written and directed by Jason Reitman and stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Annie Potts and Paul Rudd. The movie follows a single mom and her two kids who arrive in a small town, where they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

‘Stargirl’ Soundtrack Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Stargirl have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Nerve, Love, Simon, The Way Back, Foxcatcher, (500) Days of Summer, The Spectacular Now, Tully). Also included are the songs from the movie by Grace VanderWaal, Graham Verchere and Big Star. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 13 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download here. Stargirl is directed by Julia Hart and stars VanderWaal & Verchere, alongside Giancarlo Esposito, Karan Brar, Darby Stanchfield and Maximiliano Hernandez. The movie is based on Jerry Spinelli’s New York Times’ best-selling young adult novel about an unassuming high schooler who finds himself inexplicably drawn to the free-spirited new girl, whose unconventional ways change how they see themselves and their world.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 9, is the British thriller Temple developed by Mark O’Rowe based on the Norwegian series Valkyrien and starring Mark Strong, Carice van Houten and Daniel Mays. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Cave, Life in a Day, Gloria Bell). SATV Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Alan Silvestri (Avengers: Endgame, Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, The Polar Express, Captain America: The First Avenger) who previously scored 2014’s Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey has composed the show’s original music. Rob Simonsen Scoring Jason Reitman’s ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’
Rob Simonsen (Love, Simon, Nerve, Foxcatcher, The Upside, (500) Days of Summer, The Spectacular Now) is currently scoring the upcoming supernatural comedy sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The film is directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air) and stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd. The movie follows a single mom and her two kids as they arrive in a small town and begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. Reitman also co-wrote the screenplay with Gil Kenan (Monster House, City of Ember). Ivan Reitman (Stripes, Kindergarten Cop, Dave) who directed the 1984 original Ghostbusters (scored by Elmer Bernstein) is producing the project.
‘The Way Back’ Soundtrack Details
WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the drama The Way Back. The Way Back is directed by Gavin O’Connor and stars Ben Affleck, Al Madrigal, Michaela Watkins, Janina Gavankar and Glynn Turman. The movie centers on a former basketball all-star who has lost his wife and family foundation in a struggle with addiction and attempts to regain his soul and salvation by becoming the coach of a disparate, ethnically mixed high school basketball team at his alma mater.
