Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Japanese anime series B: The Beginning. The album features the original music from the show’s first season composed by Yoshihiro Ike. The soundtrack is set to be released physically as a 2-CD set on March 23, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. B: The Beginning produced by Production I.G. (Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-pass) and Kazuto Nakazawa (animation director of Kill Bill) follows a group of scientists who hope “new humans” will create universal peace, but they’re kidnapped by an evil group with very different plans. The series’ full first season of 12 episodes will premiere globally on March 2 on Netflix.

Weekly TV Music Roundup (January 28, 2018)
Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, January 30, is the German television series Babylon Berlin co-created and -directed by Tom Tykwer and starring Volker Bruch, Liv Lisa Fries, Matthias Brandt, Hannah Herzsprung, Karl Markovics, Lars Eidinger and Sebastian Urzen. Tykwer also co-scored the show with Johnny Klimek (Run Lola Run, The International, Cloud Atlas, Sense8). BMG has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well as tracks by The Bryan Ferry Orchestra, Moka Efti Orchestra & more last fall when the drama premiered overseas. Premiering on Wednesday, January 31, is the YouTube Red original series Step Up: High Water created by Holly Sorensen and starring Ne-Yo, Naya Rivera, Lauryn McClain, Petrice Jones, Faizon Love and Marcus Mitchell. Lionsgate Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the original songs from the show by Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd and “Jingle” Jared Gutstadt on the same day. ‘The Ritual’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Ritual. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ben Lovett (The Signal, Black Rock, Don Peyote, Synchronicity). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 9, 2018 and i now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Ritual is directed by David Bruckner and stars Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali, Robert James-Collier and Sam Troughton. The movie follows four men who are subjected to a night of terror when they unwisely take refuge in a derelict house as they venture into the wilderness of the Swedish highlands to perform a remembrance for a dearly departed friend.

Hrishikesh Hirway Scoring Netflix’s ‘Everything Sucks!’
Hrishikesh Hirway announced on Twitter that he has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original series Everything Sucks!. The show is created by Ben York Jones (Like Crazy, Breathe In) & Michael Mohan and stars Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Peyton Kennedy, Patch Darragh, Claudine Nako, Sydney Sweeney, Elijah Stevenson, Quinn Liebling and Rio Mangini. The comedy is set in 1996 Oregon and centers on two colliding groups of high school misfits – the AV club and the drama club.
‘The End Of The F***ing World’ Soundtrack to Be Released
A soundtrack album will be released for the British comedy drama series The End Of The F***ing World. The album features selections of the original score and the original songs from the show composed by Blur’s Graham Coxon. The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 26, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The first track, Walking All Day, is already available to download. The End Of The F***ing World is based on Charles S. Forsman’s comic series of the same title and stars Jessica Barden, Alex Lawther, Steve Oram, Gemma Whelan, Wunmi Mosaku, Christine Bottomley, Navin Chowdhry and Barry Ward. ‘The 4/20 Song’ from Netflix’s ‘Disjointed’ Released
WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack for the Netflix original series Disjointed. The digital single features The 4/20 Song written by the show’s composer Joseph LoDuca (The Evil Dead, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, Ash vs Evil Dead) who recorded the track with the Hollywood Studio Orchestra and Singers. Also included is the song As Long As We Can performed by lead actress Kathy Bates. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Disjointed is created by Chuck Lorre & David Javerbaum and also stars Dougie Baldwin, Elizabeth Ho, Elizabeth Alderfer, Aaron Moten and Tone Bell.
Laura Karpman Scoring Netflix’s ‘Set It Up’
Laura Karpman has recently recorded her score for the upcoming Netflix original movie Set It Up. The film is directed by Claire Scanlon and stars Zoey Deutch, Glen Powell, Taye Diggs and Lucy Liu. The romantic comedy revolves around two overworked assistants who try to get their horrible bosses out of their hair by setting them up together. Katie Silberman wrote the screenplay. Justin Nappi (Arbitrage, All Is Lost, 99 Homes) and Juliet Berman are producing the project for Treehouse Pictures.
‘Travelers’ Soundtrack Announced
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi drama series Travelers. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Adam Lastiwka. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 5, 2018. The download link will be added to this article later this week. Travelers is created by Brad Wright and stars Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman and Patrick Gilmore.
