Paramount Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Home Before Dark. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Nathan Lanier (High Strung, Jem and the Holograms, Justin Bieber’s Believe, Max Steel, The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download exclusively on Apple Music/iTunes, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released an album featuring Lanier’s score from Season 1. Home Before Dark is created by Dana Fox & Dara Resnik and stars Brooklynn Prince, Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Michael Weston, Aziza Scott, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe and Rio Mangini. The new season follows Hilde Lisko as she begins an investigation after a mysterious explosion hits a local farm that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation.

Apple Music/Paramount Music have announced a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Home Before Dark. Premiering on Tuesday, March 31, is the HBO Sports documentary The Scheme directed by Pat Kondelis about Christian Dawkins who was convicted in federal court in the biggest criminal case in collegiate sports history. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, The Gift, Ozark, Enemy, Fear the Walking Dead). Premiering on Thursday, April 2, is the new CBS comedy Broke created by Alex Herschlag and starring Jaime Camil, Pauley Perrette, Natasha Leggero, Izzy Diaz and Antonio Raul Corbo. Frank Ciampi (Happy Together, All About the Washingtons) is composing the show’s original music. The CBS Television Studitos production centers on a single suburban mother who’s shocked when her estranged sister and her husband and his fiercely loyal assistant/driver/friend land on her doorstep in need of a place to live after the couple’s money dries up. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature The Addams Family directed by Conrad Vernon & Greg Tiernan and starring Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler and Allison Janney. The film’s original score is composed by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball) & Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Storks). Also opening wide is the sci-fi thriller Gemini Man directed by Ang Lee and starring Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen and Benedict Wong. ‘High Strung Free Dance’ Soundtrack Released
The Orchard has released a soundtrack album for the dance movie High Strung Free Dance. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including lead actor Thomas Doherty, Ali Tomineek, Sam Bailey, Manuel Pacific, Sofi Tyler, among others. Also included are four tracks from the movie’s original score composed by Nathan Lanier (Jem & The Holograms, Max Steel, Justin Bieber’s Believe) who previously scored the original 2016 High Strung movie. The soundtrack is now available to download and stream on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. High Strung Free Dance is co-written and directed by Michael Damian and stars Thomas Doherty, Harry Jarvis, Juliet Doherty, Jane Seymour, Ace Bhatty and Desmond Richardson.

The mystery drama is inspired by the real-life story of Hilde Lysiak and follows a young girl who moves from Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind and leads her to unearth a cold case that everyone in town, including her own father, tried hard to bury.

Expected to top the weekend box office is the thriller The Accountant directed by Gary O’Connor and starring Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, Jean Smart, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, Once Upon a Time, 42, American Crime). Opening in most theaters is the comedy The Boss directed by Ben Falcone and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage and Kathy Bates. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Ride Along, Horrible Bosses, Agent Carter, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2). No soundtrack album has been announced. The Boss follows a titan of industry, who is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading and later emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart. Also opening wide is action movie Hardcore Henry written and directed by Ilya Naishuller and starring Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, Andrey Dementyev, Dasha Charusha, Sveta Ustinova and Tim Roth. The album features the songs from the film by artists such as Mohombi, Nia Sioux, Sofi Tyler, Alina Artts, Chris Burkish, Ian Mohr, Vali, Keith Cullen & more. Also included are three tracks from the movie’s original score composed by Nathan Lanier (Jem and the Holograms, Justin Bieber’s Believe, Max Steel). The soundtrack will be released on April 8, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples.
