Two new movies are opening nationwide:
Opening in most theaters is the comedy The Boss directed by Ben Falcone and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage and Kathy Bates. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Ride Along, Horrible Bosses, Agent Carter, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2). No soundtrack album has been announced. The Boss follows a titan of industry, who is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading and later emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart. Also opening wide is action movie Hardcore Henry written and directed by Ilya Naishuller and starring Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, Andrey Dementyev, Dasha Charusha, Sveta Ustinova and Tim Roth. Dasha Charusha has composed the film’s original score. Sony Masterworks has released two soundtracks, including an album featuring the songs from the film artists including The Sonics, The Temptations, The Drums, The Stranglers and Devendra Barnhart.
