Premiering tonight is the Showtime original docuseries We Need to Talk About Cosby directed by W. Kamau Bell about Bill Cosby’s descent from “America’s Dad” to alleged sexual predator. . The film’s original music is composed by Vernon Reid (of Living Colour) (Paid in Full, Free Angela and all Political Prisoners). The 4-parter, which features interviews with comedians, journalists and Cosby survivors about the man, his career and his crimes, premiered last week at the 2022 Sundance Festival and will debut exclusively on Showtime.

Premiering on Wednesday, February 2, is the Hulu limited series Pam & Tommy developed by Robert Siegel & DV DeVincentis and starring Lily James, Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Spencer Granese, Pepi Sonuga and Mozhan Marnò. Matthew Margeson (Rocketman, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) has composed the show’s original music. Five new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:

Already playing in theaters since this past Wednesday is the animated sequel Sing 2 written and directed by Garth Jennings and starring Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Bono, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Letitia Wright and Pharrell Williams. The film’s original score is composed by Joby Talbot (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Closed Circuit, Penelope). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music earlier this week (click here for the full album details) and Republic Records has released a separate album featuring the songs from the movie (including original tracks by Sam I, Anitta, BIA & Jarina De Marco) last week (click here for more information).

Also playing in theaters since Wednesday is the sci-fi action sequel The Matrix Resurrections co-written and directed by Lana Wachowski and starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Jada Pinkett Smith. Johnny Klimek & Tom Tykwer (Cloud Atlas, Run Lola Run, The International, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer) have composed the film’s original music. WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as eleven remixes last week. ‘The King’s Man’ Soundtrack Album Details

Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for Matthew Vaugn’s Kingsman prequel The King’s Man. The album features the film’s original score composed by Matthew Margeson (Rocketman, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle) and Dominic Lewis (Peter Rabbit, The Man in the High Castle, Money Monster). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 22. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. Parlaphone Records has previously released the original end credits song Measure of a Man (co-written by Margeson & Lewis) performed by FKA twigs feat. Central Cee last month.

Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Rocketman, Eddie the Eagle, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) is scoring the upcoming Hulu limited series Pam & Tommy. The show is developed by Robert Siegel (The Wrestler, The Founder) & DV DeVincentis (High Fidelity, American Crime Story) and stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the title roles of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, as well as Seth Rogen, Taylor Schilling, Nick Offerman, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese and Mozhan Marnò. The 8-parter tells the story of the Baywatch star and the Motley Crue drummer who made a sex tape on their honeymoon that was later stolen from their home.

Parlaphone Records have released the original song Measure of a Man from Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man. The track is co-written and performed by FKA twigs (with Amanda Ghost, Jane Goldman, Jamie Hartman, John Hill, the film’s composers Dominic Lewis & Matthew Margeson and Vaughn himself) ft. Central Cee is now available to stream/download as a digital single (in two different versions) on Amazon and other digital music services. Listen to both versions after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring Margeson’s & Lewis’ original score from the movie will be announced soon. Premiering tomorrow, October 12, is the second episode of the AMC anthology series Soulmates created by Will Bridges & Brett Goldstein. Episode 2, entitled The Lovers, is directed by Rob Savage and stars David Costabile, Sonya Cassidy, Karima McAdams and Henry Goodman. Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Wild Target, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Unforgotten, Another Me) has composed the episode’s original music. Premiering on Tuesday, October 13, as part of Amazon’s Welcome to the Blumhouse series, is the supernatural horror thriller Nocturne written and directed by Zu Quirke and starring Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman, Ivan Shaw and Jacques Colimon. The film’s original music is composed by British EDM artist Gazelle Twin (aka Elizabeth Bernholz). Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Rocketman, Eddie the Eagle) has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original film A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting. The movie is directed by Rachel Talalay (Tank Girl, Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare) and stars Tamara Smart, Oona Laurence, Alessio Scalzotto, Indya Moore, Tom Felton and Ian Ho. The family fantasy adventure is based on Joe Ballarini’s book trilogy of the same title and follows a first-time babysitter whose charge is kidnapped by the Boogeyman, when she discovers a secret society of fierce babysitters who protect children – and an entire world of monsters she will have to fight in order to save him.

Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the live-action adventure comedy Sonic the Hedgehog directed by Jeff Fowler and starring James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough, Adam Pally and Jim Carrey. The film’s original music is composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Alita: Battle Angel, Terminator: Dark Fate). Paramount Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally today. La-La Land Records will release a CD version soon. Also opening wide is the supernatural horror thriller Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Jimmy O. Yang, Portia Doubleday, Ryan Hansen and Michael Rooker. Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) has composed the film’s original music. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf, Never Back Down) and stars Michael Pena as Mr. Roarke, alongside Lucy Hale, Jimmy O. Yang, Portia Doubelday, Maggie Q, Ryan Hansen, Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Austin Stowell. No plot details have been announced yet for the movie, which is being described as a supernatural horror take of the series, which premiered between 1977 and 1983 on ABC.
