Premiering on Thursday, September 12, is the Netflix limited series The I-Land created by Neil LaBute and starring Kate Bosworth, Alex Pettyfer, Natalie Martinez, Kyle Schmid, Gilles Geary and Ronald Peet. The show’s original music is composed by Emily Rice. The sci-fi thriller, which follows a group of strangers who fight to survive harsh realities – and the island that traps them stream, will be available to stream on Thursday exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering on Friday, September 13, is the Netflix original series Unbelievable developed by Susannah Grant, Michael Chabon & Ayelet Waldman and starring Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever. Will Bates (I Origins, The Path, Another Earth, The Looming Tower) is composing the show’s original music. Mateo Messina has signed on to score the upcoming comedy The Pact. The film marks the directorial debut of writer/producer Kay Cannon (Pitch Perfect, New Girl, Girlboss) and stars Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz and John Cena. The movie follows three parents who, upon discovering that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, go out and try and stop them before it’s too late. Eben Russell, Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), and Brian & Jim Kehoe wrote the screenplay. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg & James Weaver (This Is the End, Neighbors) are producing the project with Hurwitz & Schlossberg and Chris Fenton (Chappaquiddick).
