Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the comedy Neighbors directed by Nick Stoller and starring Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Dave Franco. The film’s original music is composed by Mike Andrews (The Heat, Bridesmaids, Bad Teacher, Donnie Darko). Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by artists including Flo Rida, Missy Elliott feat. The Black Keys, Fergie, Nappy Roots, K’naan, Theophilus London, Icona Pop, Ke$ha and more. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details.

Also opening wide is the animated feature Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return directed by Daniel St. Pierre & Will Finn and featuring the voice talent of Lea Michele, Martin Short, Hugh Dancy and Megan Hilty Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi, Kelsey Grammer, Oliver Platt, Patrick Stewart and Bernadette Peters. The film’s original songs are composed by Bryan Adams, Jim Vallance, Tift Merritt, Jim Dooley & Mike Himelstein. The movie’s original score is composed by Toby Chu (Covert Affairs, Burn Notice). ‘Chef’ Soundtrack Details

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for Jon Favreau’s comedy Chef. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Pete Rodriguez, Courtney John, The Martinis, Liquid Liquid, Louie Ramirez, El Michels Affair and more . Also included is a cue by composer Lyle Workman (Superbad, The 40-Year Old Virgin) who wrote additional music for the film. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 6, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version will be released later in May and is available for pre-order here. Chef is written and directed by Favreau who also stars in the film alongside Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Dustin Hoffman, Oliver Platt, Emjay Anthony, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey, Jr. The movie follows a chef who quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner.

Premiering tonight on ABC is the Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie In My Dreams directed by Kenny Leon and starring Katherine McPhee, Mike Vogel and JoBeth Williams. The film’s original music is composed by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, My Dog Skip, Ladder 49). The composer recorded his score at Abbey Road Studios in London. Lyle Workman Scoring CBS’ ‘Bad Teacher’ TV Series

Lyle Workman is composing the original music for the new CBS comedy Bad Teacher. The show is based on the 2011 feature starring Cameron Diaz and follows a fearless and unapologetic former trophy wife who masquerades as a teacher in order to find a new man after her wealthy husband leaves her penniless. The series stars Ari Graynor, Kristin Davis, David Alan Grier, Sara Gilbert, Ryan Hansen and Sara Rodier. Gene Stupnitsky & Lee Eisenberg (The Office, Year One) who produced the movie version are executive producing the Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Studios production with Hilary Winston (Community, My Name is Earl), Jimmy Miller (Step Brothers, The Other Guys), Sam Hansen and Michael Lasker.

The film’s original music is composed by Lyle Workman (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this week. Also opening wide is the thriller The Call directed by Brad Anderson, Abigail Breslin, Michael Eklund, Justina Machado, Morris Chestnut, David Otunga and Michael Imperioli. John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, Elf) has composed the film’s original score. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring Debney’s music earlier this week. The film’s music is composed by John Ottman (X2, The Usual Suspects, The Fantastic Four) who also edited the movie and served as an associate producer. WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. The album features the film’s original score composed by Lyle Workman (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Win Win). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 12, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from all tracks on the album after the jump. The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is directed by Don Scardino and stars Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin, James Gandolfini, Jay Mohr and Michael Bully Herbig. The movie is set in the world of rival Las Vegas magicians and follows a traditional magic man who is dethroned by a hipper illusionist and must find a way to rediscover his love for magic. The comedy will be released on March 15, 2013 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Two new movies are opening wide this weekend:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the zombie romance Warm Bodies directed by Jonathan Levine and starring Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, Dave Franco, Analeigh Tipton and John Malkovich. The film’s music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma) and Buck Sanders (The Hurt Locker, Max Payne). Despite featuring a significant amount of original score, as well as numerous songs, no soundtrack album has been announced at this point. Also opening wide is the action thriller Bullet to the Head directed by Walter Hill and starring Sylvester Stallone, Sung Kang, Jason Momoa, Sarah Shahi and Christian Slater. Steve Mazzaro has composed the film’s original score and Hans Zimmer has produced the music. A soundtrack album featuring Mazzaro’s score has been released earlier digitally this week and will be coming out on February 19 on CD by Varese Sarabande. ‘Stand Up Guys’ Score Album Details

Lakeshore Records has announced a score album for the crime comedy Stand Up Guys. The album features the film’s original score composed by Lyle Workman (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Win Win). Also included are four songs by artists Fort Knox Five, Crookers feat. Yelle and James Calvin Wilsey. The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 29, 2013. Audio clips are available after the jump. As previously reported, the label has also released a soundtrack featuring the film’s songs, including Jon Bon Jovi’s original track Not Running Anymore, which has been nominated for a Golden Globe last week. Stand Up Guys is directed by Fisher Stevens and stars Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin as retired gangster who reunite for one epic night. The film is currently playing in select theaters for an Awards-qualifying run and will be opening nationwide on February 1, 2013.

Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the crime comedy Stand Up Guys. The album features two new original songs by Jon Bon Jovi (Old Habits Die Hard, Not Running Anymore), as well as tracks by Baby Huey and The Babysitters, Gary Clark, Jr., Elvin Bishop, Muddy Waters and Wayne Cochran & CC Riders. Also included are three tracks from the film’s original score composed by Lyle Workman (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad). The soundtrack will be released on November 20, 2012. To pre-order the CD, visit Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Stand Up Guys is directed by Fisher Stevens (The Cove) and stars Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin as retired gangster who reunite for one epic night. The film just premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival and will be released on January 11, 2013 by Lionsgate after an awards-qualifying run in December.
