It was announced during a panel at today’s third day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim that Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer, Hell on Wheels) is composing the music for Lucasfilm’s upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Tales of the Jedi. The 6-part anthology show written and executive produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett) will tell stories from different Jedi of the prequel era and features Star Wars characters Ahsoka Tano, Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn (voiced by Liam Neeson), Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker.

Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Rebels, CSI: Miami, Narcos: Mexico, Making a Murderer, Hell on Wheels) is scoring the upcoming AMC original series Dark Winds. The show is created by Graham Roland (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and stars Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon, Jessica Matten, Noah Emmerich, Deanna Allison and Rainn Wilson. The noir thriller is based on the Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman and centers on two Navajo police officers in the 1970s Southwest that are forced to challenge their own spiritual beliefs when they search for clues in a double murder case.

‘Star Trek Collection – The Final Frontier’ Soundtrack Album Announced

La-La Land Records has announced the album Star Trek Collection- The Final Frontier, a new 4-CD set featuring previously unreleased music from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. The first disc includes “lost cues” from Star Trek: The Motion Picture written by Jerry Goldsmith (but never recorded) and performed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher), as well as music from The Next Generation composed by Dennis McCarthy and Jay Chattaway. The second disc includes previously unreleased music from Deep Space Nine written by McCarthy, Chattaway, David Bell and Paul Baillargeon. The third disc features tracks from Voyager composed by Chattaway & Bell and the fourth disc includes selections of music from Enterprise written by McCarthy, Baillargeon, Bell, Kevin Kiner and Velton Ray Bunch.

Details for HBO Max’s ‘Peacemaker’ Soundtrack Album Revealed

The full details of the soundtrack album for the HBO Max original series Peacemaker have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, The Fountain, Moon) & Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rebels & The Bad Batch, City on a Hill, CSI: Miami) who are also co-scoring DC’s Titans and Doom Patrol. Also included is John Murphy’s (feat. Ralph Saenz) cover of Pumped Up Kicks and John Cena’s piano version of Home Sweet Home, which have previously been released as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 18 by WaterTower Music. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album.
