Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: The Clone Wars & RebelsCSI: Miami, Narcos: Mexico, Making a Murderer, Hell on Wheels) is scoring the upcoming AMC original series Dark Winds. The show is created by Graham Roland (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and stars Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon, Jessica Matten, Noah Emmerich, Deanna Allison and Rainn Wilson. The noir thriller is based on the Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman and centers on two Navajo police officers in the 1970s Southwest that are forced to challenge their own spiritual beliefs when they search for clues in a double murder case. Rowland is also executive producing the AMC Studios production with showrunner Vince Calandra (Castle Rock), George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones), Robert Redford, Tina Elmo, Vince Gerardis (Flashforward), Anne Hillerman, as well as Chris Eyre (Skins, Hide Away) who also serves as a director on the project. Dark Winds will premiere on June 12, 2022 on AMC and AMC+.

Kiner also continues to score Lucasfilm’s Disney+ series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which will return for a second season this year and Showtime’s City on a Hill, which will return for its third season on July 31. He is also co-scoring HBO Max’s Peacemaker, Titans & Doom Patrol (with Clint Mansell), which all have been renewed for new seasons.

    Cannot find the correct song for the end of episode 4 of Dark Winds. Sites report it asa Spy Guys song but that is not correct. Please assist.
