Hollywood Records and Marvel Music have released the first track from the soundtrack for the new Disney+ original series Ms. Marvel. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Ms. Marvel Suite written by the show’s composer Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, What If…?, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up, Why We Hate, Underground). Soundtrack Album for Disney+’s ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ to Be Released
The details of the full soundtrack album for the Disney+ animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the show’s first season co-written by Kurt Farquhar (Black Lightning, The King of Queens, First Kill, Sister, Sister, Moesha, Being Mary Jane) who also composed the score for the Disney Television Animation production. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 3 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released numerous singles featuring several of the songs over the last couple of weeks. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is created by Bruce W. Smith & Ralph Farquhar and stars Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson, JoMarie Payton, Cedric the Entertainer, Paula Jai Parker, Alisa Reyes, Karen Malina White and Soleil Moon Frye.

Premiering tomorrow, May 31, is the CW drama Tom Swift created by Melinda Hsu Taylor, Noga Landau & Cameron Johnson starring Tian Richards, Ashleigh Murray, April Parker Jones, Marquise Vilsón, Albert Mwangi and LeVar Burton. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Head (P-Valley, Boomerang, The Family Business). The series, which is inspired by the Tom Swift book series and revolves around the title character who was introduced in the network’s Nancy Drew, will air every Tuesday on the CW.
Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, June 2, is the British drama This Is Going to Hurt created by Adam Kay based on his book of the same name and starring Ben Whishaw, Hannah Onslow, Ambika Mod, Michele Austin, Rosie Akerman and Andreea Paduraru. JARV IS…, led by Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp), have composed the film’s original music. Rough Trade Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artist’s score and songs earlier this year. Kevin Kiner Scoring Disney+’s ‘Tales of the Jedi’
It was announced during a panel at today’s third day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim that Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer, Hell on Wheels) is composing the music for Lucasfilm’s upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Tales of the Jedi. The 6-part anthology show written and executive produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett) will tell stories from different Jedi of the prequel era and features Star Wars characters Ahsoka Tano, Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn (voiced by Liam Neeson), Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker.
John Williams’ ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Theme Released
Walt Disney Records has released the theme from Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi. The 4-minute track composed by Academy Award winner John Williams who previously scored all nine installments of the Skywalker Saga and also wrote the theme for Solo: A Star Wars Story is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Obi-Wan Kenobi is directed by Deborah Chow and stars Ewan McGregor Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Indira Varma, Sung Kang, Rupert Friend, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
Julia Hart’s ‘Hollywood Stargirl’ to Feature Original Score by Rob Simonsen & Duncan Blickenstaff and Songs by Michael Penn
Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Adam Project, Foxcatcher, The Way Back, (500) Days of Summer, The Age of Adeline) and Duncan Blickenstaff (Alex, Inc., Outmatched, LA to Vegas) have composed the original score for the new Disney+ original movie Hollywood Stargirl. Michael Penn (Girls, Boogie Nights, Masters of Sex) has previously been announced to compose music for the film and is credited as the project’s executive music producer and for providing additional music to the teen comedy drama co-written and directed by Julia Hart and starring Grace VanderWaal, Judy Greer, Elijah Richardson, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Nija Okoru, Al Madrigal, Judd Hirsch and Uma Thurman.
George S. Clinton & Amit May Cohen Scoring Disney’s ‘Zombies 3’
George S. Clinton (Austin Powers, Mortal Kombat, Beverly Hills Ninja, Tooth Fairy, Deck the Halls, Wild Things) and Amit May Cohen (Hollywood Fringe) are returning as the score composers of Disney’s upcoming movie musical Zombies 3. The film is directed by Paul Hoen (Let It Shine, Camp Rock 2) and stars Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney, Ariel Martin, Pearce Joza, Carla Jeffery, Kylee Russell, Terry Hu, Trevor Tordjman, Kyra Tantao, Matt Cornett, James Godfrey and Kingston Foster, as well as RuPaul Charles as the voice of “The Mothership.”

The show’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, Dune), Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve. Zimmer also co-wrote the project’s theme with ndrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. Dominic Lewis Scoring Disney+’s ‘Baymax!’
Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, The King’s Man, Money Monster, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) has composed the original music for the upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Baymax!. The show is created by Don Hall (Raya and the Last Dragon, Winnie the Pooh) based on his 2014 feature Big Hero 6 (scored by Henry Jackman) and stars Scott Adsit as the voice of the title character, as well as Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Lilimar, Emily Kuroda, Zeno Robinson and Jaboukie Young-White. The 6-part series is set in the fantastical city of San Fransokyo where the titular healthcare companion robot sets out to do what he was programmed to do: help others.
