Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ animated shorts series Baymax! The album features the show’s original music composed by Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, Bullet Train, The King’s Man, DuckTales, Monsters at Work, Money Monster). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 29 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Baymax! is created by Don Hall based on his 2014 movie Big Hero 6 and features the voice talent of Scott Adsit, Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Lilimar, Zeno Robinson, Emily Kuroda and Jaboukie Young-White.

‘Trevor: The Musical’ Cast Recording Album Released
Ghostlight Records has released the official original cast recording album for the stage musical Trevor. The release, which coincides with the debut of filmed version of the off-Broadway stage production on Disney+ today, features the songs from Trevor: The Musical written by Julianne Wick Davis (music) and Dan Collins (lyrics) and performed by cast members including Holden William Hagelberger, Sammy Dell, Jarrod Zimmerman, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Sally Wilfert, Yasmeen Sulieman, Aryan Simhadri, Diego Lucano, Isabel Medina & others. The album, which is produced by Kurt Deutsch & Matt Deitchman and features orchestrations by Greg Pliska, is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
‘Whale Rap’ from ‘Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers’ Released
Walt Disney Records has released the Whale Rap from the Disney+ original movie Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers. The track, which includes a remix of the Disney Afternoon Theme written by Tom Snow (music) & Dean Pitchford (lyrics), is composed by Nathaniel Motte (who also produced the song) director Akiva Schaffer & comedian Andy Samberg (who stars as Dale). The song is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring Brian Tyler’s original score and Post Malone’s cover of the Rescue Rangers theme last month.
‘Rise’ Soundtrack Album Details
Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Rise. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ré Olunuga (Up North, Coming from Insanity). The Nigerian composer’s score mixes his interpretation of classic orchestral Disney film music with traditional African phraseology, rhythms and instruments. Also included are two original songs co-written and performed by the eldest Antetokounmpo brother, Ofili (aka Francis Adetokunbo), as well as the song One Day performed by Shirazee. The soundtrack will be coming out digitally tomorrow, June 24 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music, including the Obi-Wan Theme composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark), the original score composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Journey’s End) and the Obi-Wan Theme adapted by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, My Dog Skip, Tuck Everlasting). The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on Monday, June 27 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
‘Ms. Marvel’ Vol. 1 (Episodes 1-3) Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the first soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ original series Ms. Marvel have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first three episodes composed by Laura Karpman (What If…?, Lovecraft Country, Paris Can Wait, Why We Hate, Set It Up, Black Nativity, Underground). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 22 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A second volume featuring music from the fourth, fifth and sixth episodes will be coming out on July 13.

Premiering on Thursday, June 23, is the Paramount+ original movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe written and directed by Mike Judge and staring Judge, Gary Cole, Nat Faxon, Chris Diamantopoulos, Chi McBride, Tig Notaro, Brian Huskey, Stephen Root, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr and Jimmy O. Yang. The film’s original music is composed by John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Office Space, The Following, Dante’s Peak, Gods and Generals). The comedy, which revolves around a Latina reporter looking back on her childhood growing up with her eccentric family in 1980s Miami, will be available to stream exclusively on HBO Max.
‘More Than Robots’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original documentary More Than Robots. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephanie Economou (Jupiter’s Legacy, The Chair, Manhunt: Deadly Games, Marvel’s 616). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. More Than Robots is directed by Gillian Jacobs and follows four teams of teenagers from Los Angeles, Mexico City and Chiba, Japa as they prepare for the 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition. The Lucasfilm production is produced by Supper Club founders Jason Sterman, Brian McGinn and David Gelb premiered this past March and is now available to stream exclusively on Disney+.
Joseph Trapanese Scoring Disney+’s National Geographic Series ‘America the Beautiful’
Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, Insurgent, The Raid: Redemption) has recently scored the upcoming National Geographic natural history series America the Beautiful. He also co-wrote the project’s theme music with drummer and supporting vocalist from Bon Iver, S. Carey. The 6-parter is directed by Tom Stephens, narrated by Michael B. Jordan and takes viewers on a journey across North America’s most spectacular regions to witness the landscapes of the most diverse land on Earth while showcasing its many unique creatures.
