Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Earthquake Bird. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Waves, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (Triple 9, Broken City). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Earthquake Bird is directed by Wash Westmoreland (Still Alice, Colette) and stars Alicia Vikander, Naoki Kobayashi and Riley Keough. The movie produced by Ridley Scott is set in 1989 Tokyo and follows an enigmatic expat haunted by a painful past who is suspected of killing her friend who’s gone missing in the wake of their love triangle with a local photographer.

Republic Records will release a soundtrack album for the A Million Little Pieces. The album features the songs from the movie, including the original song Always There by Greta Van Fleet, as well as tracks by R.E.M., The Velvet Underground, Tom Waits, Loretta Lynn & others. Also included is a suite from the movie’s original score composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Triple 9). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 6 and will be available to download here. The film is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey, Nowhere Boy) and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Giovanni Ribisi, Juliette Lewis, Odessa Young, Dash Mihok, Eugene Byrd, Charles Parnell and David Dastmalchian. The movie is based on James Frey’s 2003 bestselling book and centers on an alcoholic crack addict who finds solace in the company of a past crime lord and a former sex worker, revealing a pathway to renewal and redemption.

Coleman, Erica Tazel, Derek Luke, Malachi Kirby and Regé-Jean. The 4-parter’s original music is composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, 11.22.63). Philip Miller (Catch a Fire) has co-scored the Noyce-directed first episode. Questlove (Top Five) serves as the executive music producer on the project. Opening in most theaters is the fantasy adventure Gods of Egypt directed by Alex Proyas and starring Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Young, Courtney Eaton and Brenton Thwaites. ‘Triple 9’ Soundtrack Details
BFD Records will release a soundtrack album for John Hillcoat’s thriller Triple 9. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Claudia Sarne & Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Broken City) and Bobby Krlic. Also included is a remix of Cypress Hills’ Pigs by Ross. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 26, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Triple 9 is directed by Hillcoat (Lawless, The Proposition) and stars Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Norman Reedus, Woody Harrelson and Kate Winslet. The movie follows a gang of criminals and corrupt cops who plan the murder of a police officer in order to pull of their biggest heist yet across town.

The only wide release this weekend is Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Age of Ultron written and directed by Joss Whedon and starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johannson, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Cobie Smulders. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Furious 7) and Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman).
