Ryan Bingham has released the original song Dangerous from the survival horror thriller Dangerous Animals. The track is written and performed by the Academy Award-winning songwriter and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song after the jump. As previously reported, Range Music has released a full soundtrack album featuring Michael Yezerski’s original score from the film yesterday. Dangerous Animals is directed by Sean Byrne and stars Hassie Harrison, Jai Courtney, Josh Heuston, Ella Newton, Rob Carlton and Liam Greinke.

‘The Quarry’ Soundtrack Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the thriller The Quarry. The album features the film’s original score composed by Heather McIntosh (Compliance, Z for Zachariah, The Art of Self-Defense, Faults, 6 Balloons). Also included is the original song The Man written and performed by Academy Award winner Ryan Bingham. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, April 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Quarry is co-written and directed by Scott Teems and stars Shea Whigham, Michael Shannon, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Bobby Soto and Bruno Bichir. The movie is based on the novel by Damon Galgut and revolves around a drifter who kills a traveling preacher and takes his place at a small-town church, but the police chief suspects foul play.
Ryan Bingham’s ‘How Shall a Sparrow Fly’ from ‘Hostiles’ Released
Deutsche Grammophon has released the original song How Shall a Sparrow Fly from Scott Cooper’s western Hostiles. The track is written and performed by Ryan Bingham who previously co-wrote the Academy Award-winning song The Weary Kind from Cooper’s Crazy Heart. The song is now available as a digital single (visit Amazon to download) and will be also be included on the official soundtrack album for the film coming out next month. Hostiles starring Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike, Wes Studi, Jesse Plemons, Adam Beach, Rory Cochrane, Peter Mullan, Scott Wilson, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Foster and Q’orianka Kilcher is being released in select theaters this weekend by Entertainment Studios before expanding nationwide on January 19.
‘Hostiles’ Soundtrack Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for the western Hostiles have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Taboo, Waltz with Bashir, Miss Sloane, Disconnect). Also included is the original song How Shall a Sparrow Fly written and performed by Ryan Bingham. The soundtrack is set to be released on CD on February 9, 2018 by Deutsche Grammophon and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. A digital version is set to come out on January 5 and will be available to download here. Scott Cooper’s ‘Hostiles’ to Feature Original Song by Ryan Bingham
Ryan Bingham has recorded the original song How Shall a Sparrow Fly for Scott Cooper’s western Hostiles. The singer/songwriter, who also appears in the movie, previously co-wrote the song The Weary Kind for Cooper’s 2009 feature Crazy Heart with T Bone Burnett, for which he received an Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy Award. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the fantasy adventure Gods of Egypt directed by Alex Proyas and starring Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Young, Courtney Eaton and Brenton Thwaites. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, The Hurt Locker). Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Ryan Bingham to Score ‘ A Country Called Home’
Ryan Bingham is set to score the indie comedy drama A Country Called Home. Anna Axster will direct the movie, which follows a jaded young woman who finds her world unexpectedly shaken by the news of her estranged father’s death, which sets her off on a journey that starts in a small Texas town to redefine her path in life. Imogen Poots has already been cast and more actors are expected to be announced soon. Nicolas Gonda (The Tree of Life, To the Wonder) is producing the project. Axster has previously directed all of Bingham’s music videos. The singer/songwriter’s best known work film is the song The Weary Kind from Crazy Heart, which he co-wrote with T Bone Burnett and for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He also composed the title song for the FX series The Bridge.
