Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Heartstopper Forever. The album features the original music from the movie/series finale composed by Adiescar Chase (Waterloo Road, Bergerac, Falling, Consent). Also included are the covers of the holiday classic Deck the Halls and Hootie & the Blowfish’s Only Wanna Be With You performed by Leila Khan who stars as Sahar Zahid. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released three albums featuring Chase’s score from Season 1, Season 2 & Season 3 of the Heartstopper TV series over the last couple of months. Heartstopper Forever is written by Alice Oseman based on her book series and stars Kit Connor, Joe Locke, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Kizzy Edgell, Corinna Brown, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood and Jenny Walser.

‘Earthquake Bird’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Earthquake Bird. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Waves, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (Triple 9, Broken City). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Earthquake Bird is directed by Wash Westmoreland (Still Alice, Colette) and stars Alicia Vikander, Naoki Kobayashi and Riley Keough. The movie produced by Ridley Scott is set in 1989 Tokyo and follows an enigmatic expat haunted by a painful past who is suspected of killing her friend who’s gone missing in the wake of their love triangle with a local photographer.
Atticus & Leopold Ross Scoring Wash Westmoreland’s ‘Earthquake Bird’
Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9) have recently scored the upcoming Netflix original movie Earthquake Bird. The film is written and directed by Wash Westmoreland (Still Alice, Colette) and stars Alicia Vikander, Riley Keough, Jack Huston and Naoki Kobayashi. The thriller is based on Susanna Jones’ novel of the same title and tells the story of young female expat who is suspected of murder after her friend goes missing in the wake of a tumultuous love triangle with a handsome local photographer. Kevin Walsh (Manchester by the Sea, All the Money in the World) & Michael Pruss (Equals, Zoe) are producing the project for Scott Free, alongside Ann Ruark (Wildlife, The Beaver) and Georgina Pope.

Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the period drama Colette. The album features the film’s original music composed by Thomas Adès. Also included are a number of classical pieces by Camille Saint-Saëns, Erik Satie and Claude Debussy. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 7 and will be available to download on Amazon. Colette is directed by by Wash Westmoreland and stars Keira Knightley, Dominic West, Denise Gough, Fiona Shaw, Robert Pugh and Eleanor Tomlinson. The movie revolves around the French novelist (author of Gigi and Cheri) who overcomes an abusive marriage to emerge as a leading writer in turn-of-the-century Paris and a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Thomas Adès is currently scoring the upcoming biographical drama Colette. The film is directed by Wash Westmoreland (Still Alice, Quinceañera) and stars Keira Knightley, Dominic West, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Elinor Tomlinson and Aiysha Hart. The movie revolves around the French novelist (author of Gigi and Cheri) who overcomes an abusive marriage to emerge as a leading writer in turn-of-the-century Paris and a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Westmoreland also wrote the screenplay with Richard Glatzer and Rebecca Lemkowicz (Ida, Disobedience).
Ilan Eshkeri Scoring ‘Still Alice’
Ilan Eshkeri has recently composed the music for the upcoming indie drama Still Alice. The film is written and directed by Richard Glatzer & Wash Westmoreland (The Last of Robin Hood, Quinceanera) and stars Julianne Moore, Kristen Stewart, Alec Baldwin, Kate Bosworth and Hunter Parrish. The movie is based on a novel by Lisa Genova and follows a successful Columbia University professor who struggles to maintain her mind and self after being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Lex Lutzus (Age of Heroes), James Brown and Pamela Koffler (One Hour Photo, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) are producing the project. Still Alice is set to premiere later this month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
