Madison Gate Records will release the main theme song of the CBS hit comedy Kevin Can Wait. The track, entitled Ordinary Guy, is performed by singer/songwriter Michael DelGuidice. The song will be released as a digital single on February 6, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Kevin Can Wait is created by Bruce Helford, Rock Reuben & Kevin James who also stars in the series with Erinn Hayes, Taylor Spreitler, Ryan Cartwright, Mary-Charles Jones, James DiGiacomo, Leonard Earl Howze, Gary Valentine and Lenny Venito. The series follows a newly retired police officer who looks forward to spending more quality time with his family only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.

Premiering on Wednesday, February 1, is the BET original mini-series Madiba directed by Kevin Hooks and starring Laurence Fishburne, Orlando Jones, David Harewood, Michael Nyqvist and Terry Pheto. David Buckley to Score CBS’ ‘The Good Fight’
David Buckley has been hired to score the upcoming CBS drama The Good Fight. The show is created by Robert & Michelle King and stars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Justin Bartha, Erica Tazel, Paul Guilfoyle and Bernadette Peters. The drama is a spin-off to the network’s series The Good Wife and picks up one year after the events of the show’s final episode. The Kings are also executive producing the project with Phil Alden Robinson (Field of Dreams) who co-wrote the premiere, as well as Ridley Scott & David Zucker (The Man in the High Castle, The Pillars of the Earth), Liz Glotzer (Friends with Benefits, The Mist), Brooke Kennedy and Alison Cross.

Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy The Mick created by John & Dave Chernin (It’s Always Funny in Philadelphia) and starring Kaitlin Olson, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, Carla Jimenez and Susan Park. Guillaume Roussel is composing the music for the new CBS drama Ransom. The show is created by Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files, The Man in the High Castle, Transporter: The Series) & David Vainola and stars Luke Roberts, Sarah Greene, Brandon Jay McLaren and Nazneen Contractor. The series revolves around a world-renowned crisis and hostage negotiator whose team is brought in to resolve the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases. Big Light Productions’ Spotnitz & Vainola are also executive producing the Entertainment One, Wildcats and Sienna Films production with Jennifer Kawaja & Julia Sereny (Combat Hospital), Odile McDonald, Valerie Pechels and Jocelyn Hamilton.

Premiering on Wednesday, November 2, is the new IFC original series Stan Against Evil created by Dana Gould and starring John C. McGinley, Janet Varney, Nate Mooney, Deborah Baker Jr. and Mick Ignis. The show’s original music is composed by Eban Schletter (SpongeBob Square Pants, Another Period). The horror comedy follows a former sheriff of a small New England town who teams up with his younger replacement to investigate a series of supernatural occurrences. Premiering on Friday, November 4, is the Netflix original series The Crown created by Peter Morgan and starring Claire Foy, Matt Smith, Vanessa Kirby and John Lithgow. CBS’ ‘Pure Genius’ to Feature Music by Will Bates
Will Bates is composing the original music for the new CBS medical drama Pure Genius. The show is created by Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) and stars Dermot Mulroney, Augustus Prew, Odette Annable, Reshma Shetty, Aaron Jennings, Ward Horton and Brenda Song. The series revolves around a young Silicon Valley tech titan who enlists an exceptional veteran surgeon with a controversial past to run a state-of-the-art hospital with an ultramodern approach to medicine. Katims is also executive producing the Universal Television and CBS Television production with Michelle Lee and David Semel (Madam Secretary, Goliath) who also directed the pilot episode.

‘Supergirl’ Season 1 Soundtrack Details
La-La Land Records has announced the details of the first soundtrack album for the superhero series Supergirl. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Blindspot, The Pacific). The soundtrack will be released later this month and will be available as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website. WaterTower Music will release a digital version on August 22. Supergirl is developed by Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler & Sarah Schechter based on the DC Comic characters and stars Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood and Chyler Leigh.
