Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the NBC drama Emerald City. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Trevor Morris (Immortals, The Tudors, Olympus/London Has Fallen, The Borgias, Iron Fist). The soundtrack will be released within the next couple of weeks. The CD version is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Emerald City is developed by Matthew Arnold, Josh Friedman, David Schulner & Shaun Cassidy inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz and stars Adria Arjona, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Gerran Howell, Jordan Loughran, Joely Richardson and Vincent D’Onofrio.

Weekly TV Music Roundup (January 1, 2017)
Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy The Mick created by John & Dave Chernin (It’s Always Funny in Philadelphia) and starring Kaitlin Olson, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, Carla Jimenez and Susan Park. The show’s original music is composed by Jonathan Sadoff (The Meddler, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Beautiful Creatures). The series revolves around a rash, two-bit hustler from Rhode Island who must assume guardianship of her sister’s three high-maintenance children. Following tonight’s premiere episode, the comedy will air every Tuesday night on Fox. Visit the official show website for updates.
Also premiering tonight before moving to its regular time slot this coming Saturday is the new drama Ransom created by Frank Spotnitz & David Vainola and starring Luke Roberts, Sarah Greene, Brandon Jay McLaren and Nazneen Contractor. Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill, Outcast, It Boy) is composing the show’s original music. Trevor Morris to Score NBC’s ‘Emerald City’
Trevor Morris has been tapped to score the upcoming NBC drama Emerald City. The show executive produced by David Schulner (Do No Harm), Shaun Cassidy (Invasion) & Matt Arnold (Siberia) is inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz and follows a 20-year-old Dorothy Gale and her K9 police dog who are transported to a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy. Tarsem Singh (The Cell, Mirror Mirror) who previously collaborated with the composer on 2011’s Immortals is set to direct all episodes. The project produced by Universal Television has been picked up for a 10-episode season.
