Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the thriller Missing directed by Will Merrick & Nick Johnson and starring Storm Reid, Nia Long, Ken Leung, Joaquim de Almeida, Amy Landecker and Daniel Henney. The film’s original music composed by Julian Scherle (Princess of the Row, Heart of the Champions, Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche). Sony Masterworks/Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening semi-wide in around 500 theaters this week following an awards-qualifying run last November is the drama The Son co-written and directed by Florian Zeller and starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Zen McGrath Vanessa Kirby and Anthony Hopkins. Hans Zimmer (Inception, The Lion King, Gladiator, Dune, The Dark Knight) has composed the film’s original music.
