Toei Company has released a soundtrack album for the Japanese action adventure Revolver Lily. The album features the film’s original music composed by Yoshihiro Hanno (Mountains May Depart, The Best Is Yet to Come, Winter Boy). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. Check out the composer’s opening theme after the jump. Revolver Lily is directed by Isao Yukisada and stars Haruka Ayase, Hiroki Hasegawa, Shishido Kavka, Jinsei Hamura and Kotone Furukawa. The movie is set in 1924 and centers on a woman who killed 57 people as a spy before going underground as the madam of a small brothel, where she encounters an orphan who holds the key to finding a large sum of money reported missing by the Imperial Japanese Army. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror movie The Last Voyage of Demeter directed by André Øvredal and starring Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Jon Jon Briones, Liam Cunningham, Javier Botet and David Dastmalchian. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Outlander, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening in around 800 theaters is the sci-fi comedy drama Jules directed by Marc Turtletaub and starring Ben Kingsley, Jane Curtin, Zoe Winters, Harriet Sansom Harris, Anna George, Cody Kostro and Donald Paul. Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Lion, Hotel Mumbai, Adrift, The Old Guard, Patrick Melrose) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced.
