Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated sequel Kung Fu Panda 4 directed by Mike Mitchell and starring Jack Black, Viola Davis, Dustin Hoffman, Awkwafina, James Hong, Ian McShane, Bryan Cranston and Ke Huy Quan. The film’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Inception, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator) & Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, The Rhythm Section). Also opening wide is the supernatural horror movie Imaginary directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, Pyper Braun, Taegen Burns, Betty Buck and Veronica Falcon. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Outlander, The Walking Dead) has composed the theme(s) for the project and his Sparks & Shadows team has composed the original score. Sparks & Shadows Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music today. Gardener Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama Holler. The album features the film’s original music composed by Gene Back (Cowboys). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 12 and is now available for pre-order on
