Antony Partos is composing the music for the upcoming indie drama 99 Homes. The film is directed by Ramin Bahrani (Goodbye Solo) and stars Andrew Garfield, Michael Shannon and Laura Dern. The movie follows an unemployed construction worker who joins an unscrupulous realtor in the dirty business of foreclosing on the disenfranchised in order to save his family home. Bahrani has written the screenplay with Amir Naderi & Bahareh Azimi. The director and Garfield are also producing the Hyde Park Entertainment production with Ashok Amritraj (Walking Tall, Life of Crime, Bandits) and Justin Nappi (Arbitrage, All Is Lost). ‘Hannibal’ Season 1 Soundtracks Details

The details of the first two soundtrack albums for the psychological thriller series Hannibal have been revealed. The albums feature the music from the first season of the show composed by Brian Reitzell (30 Days of Night, Red Riding Hood, Boss). Since our last update, Lakeshore Records has announced that the albums will be released digitally on August 5, 2014 followed by a physical release. The details of the soundtrack album for the disaster action adventure Into the Storm have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Fast Five, Thor: The Dark World). Dickon Hinchliffe has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller The Reach. The film is directed by Jean-Baptiste Leonetti and stars Michael Douglas, Jeremy Irvine, Hannah Mangan, Lawrence and Ronny Cox. The movie is based on the 1972 novel Deathwatch by Robb White and follows a businessman and big game hunter in pursuit of his ultimate prize who hires a college student to lead him into the American desert. Stephen Susco (The Grudge, Texas Chainsaw 3D) has written the screenplay and Douglas is also producing the project with Robert Mitas. Hinchliffe’s recent scoring credits include the critically acclaimed drama Locke starring Tom Hardy and last year’s Out of the Furnace starring Christian Bale & Casey Affleck. LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy is composing the music for the upcoming comedy drama While We’re Young. The movie is directed by Noah Baumbach (The Squirrel and the Whale, Frances Ha) and stars Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Driver and Charles Grodin. The film follows a frustrated middle-aged filmmaker and his wife whose career and marriage are overturned when a disarming young couple enters their lives. Baumbach is also producing the project with Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men, The Social Network, Captain Phillips), Lila Yacoub (Frances Ha) and Eli Bush. Trevor Rabin to Score Syfy’s ’12 Monkeys’ TV Series

Executive producer Terry Matalas has announced on Twitter that Trevor Rabin is composing the music for the upcoming Syfy original series 12 Monkeys. The show is based on the 1995 feature directed by Terry Gilliam and stars Aaron Standford, Amanda Schull, Noah Bean and Kirk Acevedo. The series follows a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race. Matalas is also executive producing the Universal Cable production with Travis Fickett (Nikita), Natalie Chaidez and Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Richard Suckle (American Hustle, The International). The Lottery is set 25 years in the future when the human race faces extinction and when women stop having children.
