Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Play Dirty. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: The First Avenger, Predator, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cast Away, The Polar Express). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The movie is based on Donald E. Henry Jackman is currently scoring the upcoming sci-fi action horror thriller The Predator. The film is directed by Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Nice Guys) and stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Shane Black’s Amazon Pilot ‘Edge’ Features Music by Brian Tyler
Brian Tyler has scored the Amazon Studios pilot Edge. The show is created by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Long Kiss Goodnight) & Fred Dekker (Tales from the Crypt, Star Trek: Enterprise) and stars Max Martini, Ryan Kwanten and Yvonne Strahovski. The drama is based on George G. Gilman’s best-selling book series of the same title and is set in 1868 where a Union officer turned cowboy who prowls the post-Civil War West is doling out his own savage brand of justice. Black & Dekker are also executive producing the project with Barry Josephson (Bones, Turn: Washington Spies) and David Greenblatt (Battle Los Angeles).

John Ottman and David Buckley are set to score the upcoming detective thriller The Nice Guys. The film is directed by Shane Black (Iron Man 3, screenwriter of Lethal Weapon) and stars Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling, Matt Bomer, Kim Basinger, Angourie Rice, Beau Knapp, Keith David and Margaret Qualley. The movie is set in 1970s Los Angeles and follows a down-on-his-luck private eye and a hired leg-breaker who must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. Black also co-wrote the script with Anthony Bagarozzi. Joel Silver (The Matrix, Die Hard, V for Vendetta, Sherlock Holmes) is producing the project through his Silver Pictures company.
Brian Tyler to Score ‘Iron Man 3’
Brian Tyler has signed on to score Iron Man 3. The film is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang). Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark/Iron Man, along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Paul Bettany who are reprising their characters from the previous film. Ben Kingsley stars as the film’s villain The Mandarin and Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale and Ashley Hamilton are also starring. Black has co-written the screenplay with Drew Pearce. Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Thor) is producing the third installment in the franchise and Louis D’Esposito, Stan Lee and Charles Newirth are executive producing. Jon Favreau is also executive producing and returns as Happy Hogan.
