Hulu announced today that Matthew Janszen (Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Fatal Affair, Bugs Bunny Builders, Megamind Rules, Love Accidentally) is scoring the streamer’s upcoming animated series Adventure Time: Side Quests. The show is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and stars Sasha Knight as Finn the Human, John DiMaggio who returns as the voice of Jake the Dog, as well as Tom Kenny as Ice King, Hynden Walch as Princess Bubblegum, Olivia Olson as Marceline and BMO as Niki Yang. The companion to the original Adventure Time series follows young hero Finn and his magical dog best friend Jake as they embark on adventures across the fantastical land of Ooo – partying with cloud people and punching evil in the butt along the way. Nate Cash serves as the project’s showrunner and is also executive producing. Adventure Time: Side Quests will premiere on June 29, 2026 on Hulu and Disney+.
