Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the horror thriller Blair Witch directed by Adam Wingard (The Guest, You’re Next) and starring James Allen McCune, Callie Hernandez, Brandon Scott, Valorie Curry, Corbin Reid and Wes Robinson. Wingard has also composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the movie’s score. Also opening wide is the biographical drama Snowden directed by Oliver Stone and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans and Nicolas Cage. The film’s original music is composed by Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, The Incredible Hulk, World Trade Center) and Adam Peters (Savages) has contributed additional music.
