Chris Hajian is scoring the upcoming Crackle original series StartUp. The show is created by Ben Ketai (The Forest) and stars Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, Edi Gathegi and Otmara Marrero. The drama is set in Miami and tells the story of a brilliant, yet controversial tech idea that gets incubated on the wrong side of the tracks by three strangers who don’t necessarily fit the mold of tech entrepreneurs. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Pelé: Birth of a Legend. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Couples Retreat, A Hundred-Foot Journey, Million Dollar Arm). The soundtrack will be released on June 24, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Pele: Birth of a Legend is written and directed by Jeff and Michael Zimbalist and stars Kevin de Paula, Vincent D’Onofrio, Rodrigo Santoro, Diego Boneta and Colm Meaney. The movie chronicles football star Pelé’s challenging childhood in the slums of São Paulo state, his rapid rise to prominence with the Brazil soccer squad and culminating in his team’s victory at the 1958 World Cup. Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC series The Musketeers. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second and third season composed by Paul Englishby (An Education, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Sunshine on Leith, Luther). The soundtrack will be released on July 1, 2016. The Musketeers is created by Andrew Hodges and stars Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Santiago Cabrera, Howard Charles, Peter Capaldi, Maimie McCoy, Tamla Kari and Hugo Speer. Madoro Music will relase a soundtrack album for the documentary Hurricane (Ouragan). The album features the film’s original music composed by BAFTA nominee Yann Tiersen (Amelie, Good Bye Lenin!). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 3, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hurricane is directed by Cyril Barbancon, Andy Byatt & Jacqueline Farmer who teamed up with NASA to tell the story of the birth, life and death of one storm, called Lucy. Shot in 12 countries over 4 years, the movie follows the hurricane as it begins as an ominous sandstorm in Senegal, heading west across the Atlantic and finally crashing into the jungles of the Caribbean. The movie follows two estranged brothers who reunite after the mysterious disappearance of their mother and discover an unknown supernatural force.
