Paramount Music will release a soundtrack album for the family action adventure Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers series, The Island, Ender’s Game, Desperate Housewives, Pain & Gain). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 3, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Two new movies are opening nationwide this holiday weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is X-Men: Apocalypse directed by Bryan Singer and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, Evan Peters and Kodi Smit-McPhee. The film’s original music is composed by John Ottman (X2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Fantastic Four, Superman Returns) who also serves as the movie’s editor, as well as a co-producer. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Click here for the full album details. Also opening wide is the fantasy adventure Alice Through the Looking Glass directed by James Bobin, produced by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Rhys Ifan, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Dark Horse. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (The Imposter, Journey to the Edge of the Universe, This Beautiful Fantastic). Dark Horse is directed by Louise Osmond and tells the true story of a group of friends from a working men’s club who decide to take on the elite ‘sport of kings’ and breed themselves a racehorse.
